- Assess pet condition, interview pet owners, inspect pet(s), and confirm service requests before commencement of grooming services;
- Groom pets by bathing, brushing, combing, paw pad trimming, de-shedding, de-matting, drying, clipping/filing nails, cleaning ears, and deodorizing according to breed or mixed breed specifications and in accordance with Woofie's standards;
- Apply special precautions for puppies, aged, unique breeds, and disabled pets and ease pet anxieties and reduce behavioral issues by utilizing available resources and techniques;
- Protect pets and self by adhering to safety policies and following procedures in the event of a pet medical emergency;
- Maintain pet records by documenting services and updating information in a prompt manner;
- Clean, sanitize, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for all equipment while conserving use of replenishable supplies by adhering to proper portion or dilution level guidelines;
- Resolve customer issues by communicating directly with clients and promptly following up with the back-office team;
- Maintain supplies, keeping the Mobile Pet Spa and grooming workspaces clean, stocked and organized;
- Recommend additional services and products to client(s) as needed;
- Complete clerical, supply, cleaning, and any other tasks related to the Mobile Pet Spa as assigned;
- Attend local events and demonstrate onsite grooming services as reasonably requested; and
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.
- 5+ years of pet grooming experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and willing to safely operate the Mobile Pet Spa;
- Ability to work flexible hours as reasonably assigned including some weekends;
- Be reliable and punctual;
