Family Medicine Physician / Hospitalist opening in central MN.PRACTICE SPECIFICS – On the Outpatient Side (roughly half-time)
~ Our ideal candidate would be a flexible team player, looking to maintain a mix of both outpatient and inpatient medicine.
~ Roughly 8 days of clinic, spread over 3 weeks
~ Broad Primary Care Practice
~ Multispecialty Clinic with support from specialists and ancillary services
~ Clinic site has 5 Family Physicians
~ No OB, but prenatal care is an option
~ Telephone call 1:26
~This position is to prepare for anticipated retirements
Half-time Hospitalists work 1, 7-on shift, per month.
Partner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers.
Schedule – 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; rest of the shifts are days.
Hospitalists will cover ICU, with consultative intensivist support.
Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; Average daily census on unit: 50-60
Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine
