Description

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to assess potential challenges, site conditions, and other factors that may impact cost estimates.

• Utilize industrystandard estimating software and tools to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and costeffectiveness.

• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimating.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify value engineering opportunities without compromising project quality.

• Prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Present and explain cost estimates to management and clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to provide uptodate and accurate estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry professionals.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• 2 to 5 years of construction experience, required.
• Strong proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• On Screen Takeoff experience, preferred.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detailoriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
