    Job Description:
    Role and Responsibilities & Must have Skills:Mainframe Infrastructure Solution architect would primarily perform following:

    • 15 + years of experience as a Mainframe Solution Architect (understand customer problems and devise solutions)
    • Creating solutions for Mainframe Customers for Mainframe as a Service, Managed Services and InPlace Modernization (zLinux Adoption and Product Replacement)
    • Work closely with various OEMs and ISV vendors and come up with technical solution as well financial models
    • Should have expert level of knowledge on IBM, EMC, HP and other mainframe hardware and software vendors on Solutioning.
    • Should have sound knowledge on presenting various Solution models to client and internal and external leadership
    • Good to have knowledge on IBM Linux one and other related software and solutioning.
    • Established strength of being able to engage with clients and communicate effectively as a subject matter expert
    • Prior experience of working with a system integrator and building solution offerings is a plus
    • Good knowledge of trending technologies e.g. Cloud, AI, Security
    • Hands – on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessions
    • Ability to interlock, understand and engage with various senior executives of DXC and Clients to create value prop, content and assets to drive Mainframe Solutions up to winning deals

    Qualification :

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 15+ years of Experience as a Mainframe Solution Architect.
    • Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management
    • Good creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
    • Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks
    • Ability to lead and work in a team environment

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the DXC salary range for this position.

    Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

    The range listed is just one component of DXC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.
    At DXC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range.
