We are seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist to become a part of our team You will provide closeout support to include the following contract types: Cost-Reimbursable (CR), Time-and-Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price, and Labor Hour (LH) contracts and agreements. Coordinate and execute contract closeouts with vendors, program offices, Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR), government personnel, Defense Financial & Accounting Service (DFAS), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) (final audits), and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation, generation, and performance of all contract closeout actions, documentation, and data entry into PRISM (or the current Contract Writing System) as required
• Closeout a minimum of 40 contracts per month
• Track, monitor, transport and store the contract closeout files from the Government until the final shipment and disposition of the contract files
• Prioritize contract closeouts with Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) with an emphasis on recovering usable funds
• Process, coordinate, and prepare contract modifications for closeouts, payments, vouchers, and invoices to be signed by a Government Contracting Officer (CO)
• Verify the final payment status of contractors
• Prepare novations as required in support of final closeouts
• Prepare and process contract closeout files for archiving once closed
• Provide technical and management support regarding contract closeout actions as requested

​Qualifications:

• Must have experience using PRISM
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance (or above)
• Must have prior Federal experience
