Job Summary
The Dornsife School of Public Health is seeking a biostatistics Data Analyst for the Chinese Immigrant Enclave/Neighborhood study. The analyst will work on data processing, coding in SAS, statistical analyses, and contribute to reports/manuscripts and presentations.


Essential Functions

  • Retrieve and assemble data from multiple sources, create derived datasets, execute statistical analyses.
  • Maintain detailed documentation/protocols for data analyses and methods.
  • Aid in preparation of project reports and presentations.
  • Train and oversee student research assistants on the project, as needed.
  • Perform additional duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Biostatistics
  • At least 0.5 years of experience managing and analyzing data
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of statistics
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of SAS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Chinese language (Mandarin or Cantonese)

  • Typically sitting at a desk/table
