    Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

    • Choice of Insurance Plans (Health, Dental, Vision, Life)
    • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building as needed to ensure all departments and staff are supported
    Minimum Education Associates Degree - Required Bachelors Degree - Preferred KY Nursing License or equivalent Kentucky RN state licensure or compact licensure required
    Minimum Work Experience 1-2 years minimum experience as bedside RN 2-4 years critical care experience preferred
    Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision


    Certifications:

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - W/I 30 days of hire Pediatric Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (PALS) - w/I 30 days of hire Handle with Care to be received within 30 days of orientation and kept annually TNCC preferred Specialty Certification testing within 1 year of hire and pass within 1.
