Medical Assistant needed Part Time for our
Chandler Location. This is a clinical setting. Minimum 1 year medical assistant experience required.
Allergy Experience Preferred but not required

Hours:

Monday 9-5:30 pm (30 min paid lunch)

Tuesday 9-7:00 pm (1 hour paid lunch)

Friday 9-5:30 pm (30 min paid lunch)

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team.
Prior experience in Allergy field preferred but not required.

Clinical Duties:

Support provider teams by providing quality nursing care to both pediatric and adult allergy/asthma/immunology patients
Preperation and administration of allergy shots

- perform all testing (skin, breathing, etc)
- biologic medication administration

Provide patients with educational literature
Triage Medical calls, give advice as necessary, and consult with the providers
Maintain a smooth patient flow
Comply with all OSHA/HIPAA and other government regulations
Other assigned duties

Education/Employment Standards:

Must have an active medical assistant certification or course completion certificate
Current CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers preferred

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication and chart documentation
Patient confidentiality
EMR Experience preferred

Physical Demands:

This position requires prolong standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping

This is a private medical practice specializing in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. All our physicians are Board Certified Allergists.
