    Description

    A position as a Shift Leader/Manager at our company entails embodying our core values, fully embracing the Chick-fil-A culture, and having a servant's heart. Shift managers are tasked with assisting senior leadership in the day-to-day operations, ensuring team members are accountable for Operational Excellence and the Recipe for Service. The primary areas of focus include efficiently completing tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations and actively coaching and developing team members.



    JOB TITLE: Shift Leader/Manager

    Responsibilities as a Team Leader include:
    • Organizing and overseeing positional set-ups, breaks, and changes
    • Ensuring Food Safety, Operational Accuracy, and Hospitable Service
    • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational compliance at all times
    • Consistently executing restaurant recipes and systems
    • Handling high expectations and maintaining accountability in a fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrating a strong work ethic, humility, and self-motivation
    • Solving problems efficiently and multitasking effectively
    • Being goal-oriented and a quick learner
    • Training, coaching, and developing team members
    • Committing to our core values of excellence, teamwork, and kindness
    • Demonstrating excellent communication skills
    • Opening and/or closing, leading shifts, and being a key holder
    • Counting drawers and finalizing the day
    Qualifications and Requirements:
    • Smiling and maintaining eye contact
    • Speaking enthusiastically and making emotional connections with guests
    • Having reliable transportation
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Possessing strong people skills with a desire to serve team members
    • Showing a strong commitment to superior customer service
    • Managing Team Member behavioral and performance issues effectively
    • Working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with shared ownership and responsibility
    • Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is preferred but not required

    It's important to note that most Chick-fil-A Restaurants are independently operated by franchised business owners who oversee their employment decisions and uphold their own content and policies.
