- Pay is commensurate with experience and is provided on a weekly basis.
- Both Day and Night shifts are available.
- Provide maintenance support under moderate supervision to maintain the safe and efficient operation of equipment and team.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Address emergency mechanical or electrical issues as they arise.
- Troubleshoot problems with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to production equipment effectively.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to achieve plant and individual objectives.
- Minimize equipment downtime due to failures.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR currently pursuing education in industrial maintenance (e.g., holding an industrial maintenance diploma or attending a technical school) in place of experience.
- Applicants will be considered for positions at the Associate Maintenance Technician, General Maintenance Technician, and Senior Maintenance Technician levels.
- Level placement will be determined during interviews based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computer operations for task logging, work order processing, and documentation completion. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities and basic math proficiency are essential.
- Capable of occasionally lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.; frequent lifting of 20 lbs.
- Able to stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours daily.
- Comfortable working in confined or elevated spaces, walking, climbing, using ladders, operating lifts, bending, and stooping.
- Experienced in repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling tasks.
- Familiar with frequent overhead work.
- Adaptable to plant temperature variations ranging from -25 to over 100 degrees; may also require outdoor work.
- Basic math skills encompassing percentages, fractions, and measurements.
