    Description


    CNC Operator (CNC Router)As a CNC Operator, you are responsible for utilizing CNC machinery to execute various tasks such as cutting, drilling, and finishing parts to precise specifications.

    In this role, you will play a critical role in producing components of diverse types, sizes, weights, and thicknesses. Successful candidates will possess CAD abilities and prior experience, with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Prepare and operate CNC routers to perform tasks such as routing, drilling, and other machining operations.
    Understand the specifications of the task by interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical documents.
    Translate instructions into computer commands to ensure the CNC machines perform the correct functions.
    Load and prepare raw materials and parts onto the CNC machinery, including wood and plastic sheet goods.
    Conduct test runs to ensure that the machines produce outputs according to specified requirements.

    Set up and adjust machines to complete full cycles, allowing for the efficient fabrication of a large number of parts.

    Monitor the machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to enhance the quality of the output.
    Inspect and measure finished products, comparing them against specifications to ensure proper completion.
    Perform daily maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
    Safely deliver machined parts to the designated job builders.
    Assisting with other assigned tasks.


    What we're looking for:
    At least one year of related CNC machining experience is required.
    Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
    Familiarity with wood and plastic sheet materials.
    Experience in applying and programming toolpaths for 2D parts, with a preference for knowledge of G-Code.
    Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills.
    Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven approach to work.
    Competency in using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
    Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and responsibilities.
