The AP Accountant will be responsible for creating vendors, making the payments on time, paying expense reports, recording the credit card expenses, and reconciling credit cards, AR ledger, and sub-ledger.

This team member will partner with the Senior Accountant to extract the 1099s data once a year.


Role and Responsibilities

• Invoice payments
• Subcontractor payments
• Expense reports payment
• Create new vendors in Sage Intacct and request their W
• Enter credit card expenses in Sage Intacct and request receipts if not received
• 1099MISC and 1099NEC reports
• The main point of contact for vendor AP requests
• Maintain vendor data integrity
• Reconcile credit card statements
• Reconcile AP ledger and subledger

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associates degree in Accounting or relevant experience
• 2 years of experience in accounting shared services preferred
• Experience with ERP systems, Sage Intacct preferred
• High level of proficiency with Excel and other MS Office products
