    job summary:
    We are looking for candidates with experience selling AV equipment/solutions to the K12 and/or higher education industry. Our ideal candidate has experinece selling for a manufacturer of AV equipment. We are a leading developer and manufacturer of professional AV hardware and software solutions which serve the ever-changing needs of organizations around the world as they strive to better communicate. Each product is carefully engineered to provide best-in-class performance, intuitive operation and exceptional reliability. The passion for our products is evidenced by our company culture which encourages innovation and provides opportunities for individual career growth. Our teams develop and release over 100 new products a year and continue to grow our vast patent portfolio.

    Position Overview:

    Responsibilities include developing business relationships with all levels of management within the Colleges, University's, and select K-12 School districts and training end users on AV technology products, that will advance the development of market solutions.

    Qualified Candidates will have:

    • 5+ years of experience, with a technical background, developing accounts and selling project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions

    • Candidates must have experience selling AV equipment/solutions to K12 or higher ed.

    • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.

    • Experience performing initial technical phone support for AV related products.

    • follow up skills supporting clients/end users on support requests, product pricing information, trade-show follow up, system design and literature requests.

    • Working knowledge of procurement policies, information technology procurement needs, and facilities management within a large organization.

    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

    • attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate.

    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.

    • Expertise in AV.

    • Experience working within a Higher Education and/or K-12 School District environment.

    • BA Degree or equivalent experience.

    • Travel Required.
