About the Position:


Responsibilities:

***- Lead and manage all aspects of accounting operational functions; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, revenue recognition, financial reporting and modeling, and loan processing.

  • Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring all accounts are paid on time (AP), along with processing accounts and collecting payments (AR).
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements (biweekly, monthly, and annually) for record and review to aid in senior leadership decisionmaking process.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data for accurate accounting recommendations to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Formulating budgets for forecasting purposes; to make certain that expenses are in line with the company's projected revenue.
  • Organize information and statements for both internal and external audits.
  • Oversee and support the Account Manager and Jr. Accountant with dynamic leadership to foster an environment of support and productivity.
  • Hire, training, and retain skilled accounting staff. Carrying out supervisory duties effectively. I.e., Performance management, disciplinary, professional development
  • Implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk, maximize return and keep the financial state of the business in good standing.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations and implement operational best practices.
  • Carry out additional duties are required by Senior leadership team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in business administration, Accounting, or related field


  • CPA

  • Certified public accountant, CMA
  • Certified Management Accountant or CA
  • Chartered Accountant is preferred.
  • 8 years of prior professional Financial/Accounting experience + 5 years of Managerial Experience.
  • Required Accounting Experience: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expenses, cash, Budgeting, bookkeeping, Cost Accounting
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis.
  • Software Experience: QuickBooks, QuickBase, Google Suite, Microsoft,
  • Experience working with multiple accounts and subsidiaries.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with EOS operating method highly preferred
  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendation (A big picture methodology)
  • Able to travel as needed.
