Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Production Control Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure efficiency in our production operations.

The
Production Control Manager position was created to lead the production planning and scheduling activities for HVAC component fabricated at the company.

The Company specializes in fabricating aftermarket HVAC components using sheet metal and a variety of equipment such as CNC Lasers, Panel Benders, Automated Coil lines, CNC Press Brakes, Spot Welders, etc.

We maintain a combined manufacturing facility of 160,846 sq. ft.; featuring 4 facilities.

• Maintain professionalism while using all forms of communication
• Must coordinate with various departments such as Production Leaders, Sales Team Representatives, Procurement, and the Shipping Departments to create the proper schedules for production meeting both internal and customer expectations
• Produce and maintain Manufacturing Requirement Report
• Assists with the initiation of full cycle production for all components; building and maintaining production plans and schedules
• Use reports to create, modify and distribute manufacturing orders to the proper department for production
• Utilize company ERP system to assure efficient and productive delivery of product according to customer expectations

Provide frequent reports and updates to management regarding status of production orders, requirements for labor across multiple production departments, and production output


Duties:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet company objectives
• Supervise and coordinate production team activities to meet quality and production goals
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely supply chain operations
• Oversee plant operations, including equipment maintenance and optimization
• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in production processes
• Manage overall operations to ensure efficient workflow and quality output

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field (preferred) or
• High School Diploma or Equivalent considered
• Proven experience in production planning, assembly, and plant management
• Knowledgeable in Excel and Word
• Basic knowledge of metal fabrication, sheet metal experience preferred
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on operations management
• Should have 3 to 5 years experience with production scheduling in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to periodically visit/work in varying temperatures and climates (outdoors/warehouse)

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
