Safety Sitters Wanted
*Summary: Join Century Security Services in Partnership with Geisinger Health Network Are you looking for a rewarding career in safety services? Century Security Services is seeking Safety Sitters to join our team in partnership with Geisinger Health Network. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients under your care.
**Starting Pay: $17 per hour (Up to$18 per hour after 1 month evaluation).
Requirements:
- Completion of a deescalation and safety sitting class at Geisinger (8hour day).
- Must pass child abuse clearance
- TB skin test
- Hep C vaccination
- Serious inquiries only
- Must pass a background check with no felonies on record
- Drug test required
- CPR certification is a plus

Job Duties:
- Provide continuous observation and monitoring of patients to ensure their safety
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Engage in conversation and provide emotional support to patients
- Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare staff
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Additional Criteria:
- Punctuality and professionalism are a must
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance
