V.

(founded in 1994, with approximately 550 members) operates three schools and a children's house in Chemnitz, where the ideas of Maria Montessori are implemented.

The fundamental principle of Montessori education is to support the independent and responsible learning as well as the development of the personalities of children and adolescents to the best of our ability.

We are currently seeking a school principal (m/f/d) for our primary school in Slate Springs, MS.

The school team consists of a total of 25 people (teachers, educators, class assistants, secretary, caretaker), including both older and younger colleagues (m/f/d).

We work in 7 mixedage classes with 21 children each. As a privately run school, our primary school enjoys great flexibility in shaping school operations and teaching.

The optimal use of these opportunities, as well as the concrete implementation of the principles of Montessori education, are the responsibility of the school's faculty, led by the school principal (m/f/d).


Responsibilities include:

Organizing school operations
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations of the State Office for Schools and Education
Personnel management and development
Implementation of the "Quality Framework for Montessori Practice" (Montessori Germany)
Close cooperation with the school's afterschool care program and the management of the sponsoring association
