With our hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems, our globally located customers test their battery management systems (BMS) for electric vehicles and stationary energy storage.

As a hardware project engineer in the field of BMS-HIL systems, you will work with dSPACE real-time hardware as well as specific hardware components, such as the dSPACE cell voltage simulation and other high-voltage components in the range of up to 1500 V DC. You will be responsible for the conception and specification, as well as overseeing the production and acceptance testing of our BMS-HIL systems.

Your tasks

  • Conception, specification, and design of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators
  • Development and implementation of specific customer requirements
  • Creation of circuit and layout diagrams using EPLAN P8
  • Commissioning at the Paderborn site and at our customers' locations (national and international)
  • Project management
