Proposal Editor/Writer.



Job Duties:


  • Provide editing and formatting of RFP, RFQ, and RFI proposals and related documents such as past performances, resumes, oral presentation slide decks, and subcontractor/partner bid response support.
  • Provide writing support and organization of various RFP, RFQ, and RFI proposals content areas and work with SMEs to obtain information to fully satisfy requirements and exemplify the company's strengths.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage visual and graphical enhancements with proposals.
  • Ensure the highquality content and appearance of final proposal deliverables.
  • Integrate contributions into one, cohesive proposal that showcases our win strategy and meets client needs and solicitation requirements.
  • Review proposals against solicitations to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and follow style guidelines and standards.
  • Provide presentation support with internal and client training materials, consisting of but not limited to training slides, manuals, and handbooks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in proposal editing; experience with RFP, RFQ, and RFI proposals is a must.
  • Impeccable English writing and editing skills with proficiency in proofreading for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and context.
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills and ability to synthesize information.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, or graphic program, is a plus.
  • Must be organized, detailoriented, and committed to delivering quality products.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks successfully under tight deadlines.
  • Effective Communication with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be capable of working evenings or on weekends on occasion to meet proposal deadlines.
