Are you interested in advancing public transportation in Kiel while also contributing to sustainability and climate protection? You can do so as a civil engineer. The municipal enterprise Beteiligungen der Landeshauptstadt Kiel (EBK) not only plans and orders public transportation in Kiel, but also owns two bus depots with workshops and administrative buildings.

Your tasks will mainly focus on building maintenance, building physics, and technical building equipment. As part of the accompanying program during your studies at EBK, you will gain insight into the different areas of the enterprise and the work that is carried out there. Additionally, you will work on a project in the infrastructure department, which will involve various planning and construction phases. This project will be closely supervised as your knowledge and skills grow.

This is a great opportunity to follow concrete projects from the perspective of the client, from planning to implementation, and to learn about the interconnected engineering activities. In addition to the theoretical content of the civil engineering program at hochschule21 in Buxtehude, you will also acquire special knowledge for working in a public administration through a supplementary administrative course.
