Overview:

Responsibilities Include:


  • Development of work instructions for multiple classes of submarines
  • Adherence to processes, procedures, and standards
  • Collaboration with peers and supervisors for the development of new processes and procedures
  • Completion of work in support of department goals related to quality and attainment
  • Interfacing with organizations across Electric Boat in a professional manner

Qualifications:

Required:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with computers including Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:


  • 1+ year of Electric Boat planning, design/engineering, or operations experience
  • Experience with PCM/EWP
  • Experience with the IPDE toolset
  • Past experience in warehousing, transportation, planning, or equivalent
  • Experience with product structuring
