What you will do:
- Cost control analysis for Area
- Performing contract administration functions prepare, review and maintain
- Prepare and maintain various records and reports
- Coordinate and implement Areawide administrative activities
- Review variance from standard administrative practices, identify potential problems and notify supervision of any significant deviations.
- Provide administrative coordination of service contract activities within the Area.
- Solicit competitive bids, verify contractors have proper licenses and sufficient insurance coverage and ensure contracts are properly sourced and completed in accordance with Company policies.
- Train Area Administrative Assistant(s).
Who you are:
You have the following education and/or experience:
- Associate's Degree (or 60+ semester hours of college courses) including courses relevant to the position such as accounting, statistics, business administration and computers or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) years of business experience, preferably in the natural gas transmission industry, in the following respective disciplines, as applicable: cost and budget analysis, IT systems and procedures analysis, and contract administration.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint or their equivalent.
- Capable of multi-tasking, handling numerous concurrent activities and working within deadlines. Possess excellent skills in oral and written communication, problem solving and reasoning as well as interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying ( up to 25 amount of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 25 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement, grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
