Details of Research Project:
The Arriaga laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead projects aimed at identifying therapeutic vulnerabilities of metastatic prostate cancer. Our lab combines functional genomics and mouse models to understand the consequences of genetic and epigenetic alterations in prostate cancer. Come help us build a fun, creative and supportive team
Responsibilities
Technical Duties:
Educational and other Requirements for the position:
Strong background in general molecular and cell biology techniques as well as previous experience in the following areas are preferred: mouse modeling and handling, prostate cancer research, epigenetics, patient -derived xenogrfts, bioinformatics, organoid/iPSCs.
Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project:
The project will be expected to result in peer-reviewed publications as well as in multiple grant proposals that will prepare the candidate for future applications to independent research positions.
