    Controls Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift (Pay up to $38.50 per hour depending on experience)

    To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:

    · Perform preventive maintenance as required.

    · Assist as required in advanced electrical repair as assigned.

    · Program and modify all types of Drives, AC and DC, 5hp to 500hp.

    · Review and update the system for raw material rejection/chargeback(s).

    · Process hourly/daily paperwork as required.

    · Trouble shoot and repair all types of control circuits.

    · Run conduit and pull wire to install or move equipment.

    · Repair electrical components where applicable.

    · Work with plant power distribution system.

    · Remove and install motors.

    · Keep updated documentation as required on all shop machinery.

    · Work closely with the Engineering Department on necessary projects.


    This full-time role is a part of our Plant Maintenance team and reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

    Required experience:

    · Associate degree in a related technical field with at least 8000 documented hours working in the trade or certified journeyman's card. Will consider experience in lieu of education/degree. Minimum of 3 or more years' experience in materials.

    · Experience with mechanical or hydraulic presses is a plus.

    · Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

    · Excellent problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Whys

    · Excellent communication skills as evidenced in colleague relations, team skills, and have the ability to interface directly with the customer to resolve issues.

    · Ability to work independently, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    · Excellent attendance record

    · Ability to manipulate and modify robot programs. ABB, Fanuc, preferred.

    · Comply with Autokiniton values and policies.
