Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule and direct all front of house staff at the Van Andel Arena (Ushers, Ticket Takers, Guest Services, and other house staff as required for events).
  • Work with promoters, show management, and frequent users of the arena to maintain a high level of customer service and patron experience.
  • Assist w/Acrisure Lounge & other miscellaneous venue VIP programs.
  • Assist w/Specific Event related VIP program aspects and needs.
  • Conduct preevent inspections of all event areas.
  • Manage inventory of event entry equipment.
  • Coordinate distribution of event related promotional materials.
  • Develop and maintain front of house staff training program.
  • Prepare labor and post event reports.
  • Be available to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Experience in a Front of House/Customer Service position required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a necessity.
  • Strong problemsolving skills desired.
  • Good organizational and supervisory skills a must.
