Front of House Manager - Grand Rapids, United States - ASM Global
Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule and direct all front of house staff at the Van Andel Arena (Ushers, Ticket Takers, Guest Services, and other house staff as required for events).
- Work with promoters, show management, and frequent users of the arena to maintain a high level of customer service and patron experience.
- Assist w/Acrisure Lounge & other miscellaneous venue VIP programs.
- Assist w/Specific Event related VIP program aspects and needs.
- Conduct preevent inspections of all event areas.
- Manage inventory of event entry equipment.
- Coordinate distribution of event related promotional materials.
- Develop and maintain front of house staff training program.
- Prepare labor and post event reports.
- Be available to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Experience in a Front of House/Customer Service position required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a necessity.
- Strong problemsolving skills desired.
- Good organizational and supervisory skills a must.
