    Job overview:

    As a Brand Marketing Intern for Eva-NYC you will get to work on a wide range of projects that balance your creativity and analytical prowess, including innovation, white space analysis, creative campaign support, sustainability communications, market share reports and more.

    This role will be a part of our brand management team and you'll get exposure to all areas of brand marketing.

    Location: Brooklyn, NY
    Salary: $16 p/h

    Responsibilities:

    Innovation white space analysis:
    • Analyze the market & consumer trends to identify key white space innovation opportunities for Eva NYC - identifying portfolio opportunities is a fundamental brand management skillset & will develop an analytical & strategic mindset
    • Support monthly creative reports by keeping a pulse on emerging brand asset trends, new competitive launches & compelling brand imagery on social
    Creative campaign support:
    • Support brand marketing team to execute campaign creative for social & PDP, bringing your own ideas & aesthetic vision to life for campaign assets - creative execution, from messaging to visual identity, are core competencies in marketing & the talent will gain vital experience in this area
    • Support asset management & deployment
    Sustainability communications:
    • Work closely with our sustainability lead & brand marketing manager to determine sustainability communications strategy & execution for gain valuable insight into the world of sustainability & build skillset for cross functional collaboration
    Market share reports:
    • Support monthly business review process by thorough market data analysis - build analytical prowess & comfort with Nielsen, a key data tool in brand management
    Other business needs:
    • Support sampling & PR/ influencer initiatives and gifting
    • Support ad hoc consumer-facing activations that require copy editing, sourcing relevant assets, etc. Have a creative eye (& pen) for brand messaging
    Requirements:
    • Lead with curiosity, resourcefulness & a desire to learn
    • Strong analytical skills & comfort with Excel
    • Organizational skills with keen attention to detail
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills, ability to ask questions & escalate any hurdles
    • Be able to work both independently & collaboratively
    Desirable skills:
    • Balance of analytical & creative skills, ability to work with both sales data & visual assets
    • Have an understanding of marketing principles
    • Bring a perspective on personal career development goals to steer special stretch projects
    • Interest in the beauty/personal care industry
