Belton, MissouriEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Welding of galvanized, carbon steel and aluminum materials and assembliesPlasma and stitch cuttingWeld Platforms and pennant plates as neededPrepare assemblies for shippingPreform inspections of own workMaintain Kan Ban LevelsOther duties as assigned RequirementsEducation, Experience and Qualifications:High School Diploma/Equivalent6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, small part assembly preferred.
Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.Reliable and dependable attendance.
Mig/Tig wire feed welding skills; Experience in Aluminum welding and Robotics strongly preferredAbility to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workersMechanical aptitude preferred.
Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking.
Working environment is an unheated and non air conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting.Safety glasses with side shields are required in the manufacturing environment.
