- Perform MIG Steel Welding operations on a standard/repetitive line of steel products as well as custom/non-standard products following prescribed procedures.
- Place, fit and arrange appropriate parts in proper positions on welding fixture to ensure correct dimension tolerance.
- Must be able to adjust and regulate welding equipment to obtain best possible penetration, fill, weld quality, performance, and the appearance of products within prescribed standards.
- Perform first piece and in-process inspection on all work completed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to read work instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to read standard and metric rulers.
- Must have the ability to read tape measure, blue prints and schematics.
- Able to work overtime and weekends
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand;Reach with hands and arms and talk and hear.
