- Store, stack or palletize material in accordance with prescribed storage and shipping methods.
- Operate power lifts, hand trucks, carts and other material handling equipment in performing warehousing duties;
- Other logistics duties as assigned in response to contractual reporting or mission requirements.
- Provide shipping and receiving support as follows:
- Respond to requests from warehouse lead for logistics support as required;
- Examine stored materials, note and report deterioration and damage;
- rearrange and take inventory of stored materials;
- Oversee inventory and maintain required material in warehouse locations. Other duties may include;
- Material handling, packaging, marking, movement;
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods;
- Forklift or equipment operations.
- Performing warehouse related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested
- Perform open and inspection of Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) series requisitions, identifying material discrepancies and multi-packs. Provide findings to MARMC Code 500 SME/Manager and LLTM team leads.
- Perform on site receipt inspections as needed to ensure proper receipt of LLTM requirements as well as identifying damaged or inadequate receipt of material. Receipt inspections may occur at the local storage facility. Provide findings to MARMC Code 500 SME/Manager.
- Assist with and monitor material turnovers, provide updates from material turnovers to Material Access Technology Database (MAT) and the Master Status Tracker (MSTDB).
- File (1348's/1149s) documents IAW supply chain procedures.
- Have ability to become familiar with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Passive Countermeasures Systems (PCMS) instruction series and to understand proper procedure for issuance of PCMS tiles.
- For (PCMS) tiles, monitor turn over and follow procedures per current MARMC instruction 9740 series, ensuring PCMS tile transfer documentation (material pulling stage sheet, 1149/1348, and third party transfer document) are maintained IAW with the instruction.
- Assist the local storage facility in the performance of inventories for affected Chief of Naval Operation (CNO)/Continuous Maintenance Avails (CMAVs) when necessary.
- When requested, assist the government with AT6 material pickups.
- Contractors shall use government vehicles between places of official business for the performance of services under the MARMC Professional/Tech contract. Private Owned Vehicles (POVs) are for alternate assigned work sites only or utilized on a volunteer basis. The Government will cannot be held accountable for POVs used on a volunteer basis.
- High School diploma with a minimum of (2) or more years of experience in Navy warehousing supply and logistics.
- Must be a US Citizen;
- Ability to learn and become proficient with the following software applications: Material Access Technology (MAT), Material Requirements (MRQT), ONE TOUCH, FEDMALL, Defense Supply System (DSS).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Ability to contribute to and influence other associates in maintaining a safe, clean work environment and displaying a positive team spirit / attitude;
- Ability to be certified to operate power lifts, hand trucks, carts and other material handling equipment in performing warehousing duties.
- Familiar with Navy transportation and transfer documentation such as DD1149, DD1348
- Must have a Secret Clearance;
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lb.'s regularly to populate storage racks and organize pallets of equipment.
- Local travel in and around the Hampton Roads area to include: Public and Private Shipyards, DLA Warehouse, Bldg. W143 and St. Juliens Creek Annex.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in applying conventional fact-finding, analytical, and problem solving methods.
- Proficient in the use and creation of documents in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook.
