    Join our team as a Medical Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service at Banner. Room patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Provide support to office/administrative staff when needed.

    Uncertified Medical Assistants welcome! Get certified within 12 months with Banner's support. Gain access to certification study material and have certification costs covered.     Multiple BUMG-Phoenix clinics are hiring for Medical Assistants, such as Ortho/Sports Medicine Institute, Rheumatology Clinic, Neuroscience Institute, and more.

    All BUMG Medical Assistants must be nationally certified or able to obtain certification within 12 months. BLS certification required.

    As a Medical Assistant at Banner, you will assist clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, ensuring an excellent patient experience. Collaborate with providers in patient care, perform procedures, manage patient care coordination, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    High school diploma/GED or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program. Obtain national certification within 12 months. BLS certification required. Strong computer skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Additionally, specific clearance cards may be needed for certain clinic settings.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience with office medical procedures, knowledge of insurance operations, and EMR software preferred. Additional related education/experience is a plus.
