    Gillingham Charter School is a Title I public school in Pottsville, PA, servicing students in many districts in the coal region, inside and outside Schuylkill County. Our school offers Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade students a unique Relational Education based on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason.     At Gillingham, the traditional role of the superintendent and principal are shared between Gillingham's directors. School operations are overseen and carried out by the Director of Organizational Development.

    Supervise Administration Staff who oversee transportation, enrollment, facilities, secretarial duties, local finances, data, school meals in addition to being responsible for:
    • Personnel (HR) Director
    • Grant Manager
    • Insurance
    • Facilities
    • Operations
    • Marketing
    Supervised by the Executive Director

    Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • Child Abuse, State Police, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances (Current within the last year)
    • Excellent management skills
    • Management Experience
    • A willingness and enthusiasm to learn new methodologies
    • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a dynamic team environment
