We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team.
As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality dental care to our patients.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, taking patient records, and ensuring a comfortable and efficient dental visit.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental xrays
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take accurate patient records, including medical history and vital signs
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the dental office's appointment calendar
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and maintaining patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining professionalism and focus on patient care
- Current CPR certification is required
