    Description


    A large banking client is looking for a Commercial Lending Assistant to join their Jacksonville office and assist the senior bankers in lending activities.


    Responsibilities:

    • Assist Lenders in gathering documentation and information for loan application processing and ongoing portfolio management.
    • Review approval for accuracy, and coordinate revisions, as necessary.
    • Assist lenders with providing superior customer service to existing customers by resolving issues and providing accurate and timely information.
    • Engage the legal or internal teams prepare documents for closing. In addition, work as a liaison with attorneys and lenders and coordinate closing dates.
    • Assist in KYC document collection to ensure due diligence needed to close loans is completed.
    • This person will obtain all necessary Insurances and ensure sufficient coverage requirements are met prior to closing
    • Following approvals, this candidate will process loan payments, draws on lines of credit, payoffs and credit advances.
    • Monitor pipeline reports to ensure timely closings.
    • In addition, this candidate will review Title Commitment and Final Title Policy for accuracy, prepare Commitment Letters when required, disburse loan proceeds at closing and prepare booking packages postclosing.

    5+ years of experience within commercial lending
