Director of Nursing - Houston, United States - Serene Hospice Care

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Director of Nursing to join our team in Houston. The Director of Nursing is a registered professional nurse who ensures quality patient care in the home. The primary function is for the overall administration of the clinical operation and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity. This role coordinates care with the Interdisciplinary Group, patient, family, and referring agency.

The Director of Nursing also monitors and analyzes QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) issues and directs clinical staff with regard to hospice policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of clinical operations.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
• Coordinate care with the Interdisciplinary Group/Team, patient, family, and referring agency.
• Monitor and analyze QAPI issues.
• Direct clinical staff regarding hospice policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality patient care in the home.

Qualifications:

• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) with a current license.
• Experience in hospice care or a related field.
• Strong leadership and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of QAPI issues and hospice policies and procedures.
• 2 to 5 years of Hospice Director of Nurse, required.

Pay:
$85, $110,000.00 per year

Hospice Supervising Nurse: 2 years (required)
