This role is 5 days a week onsite in our NY office with some travel.

Aescape is the NY-based lifestyle robotics company redefining self-care. We're looking for a
_"hands-on"_ Information Technology Facilities Manager** who can oversee our technology and office infrastructure across multiple global retail locations. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring a seamless and productive work environment for our growing team.


You'll be collaborating cross functionally with Engineering and Facilities, and Retail Operations as we create a new wellness through AI and Robotics.

What You'll Do:


IT Management:


  • Hardware and Software Provisioning:
  • Oversee the procurement, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software across all locations, ensuring timely delivery and optimal functionality.
  • Device Management: Implement efficient processes for issuing and retrieving laptops, ensuring proper inventory control and asset tracking.
  • Network Infrastructure: Establish and maintain reliable Wi-Fi connectivity in all offices and retail locations, ensuring secure access for employees and customers.
  • Security: Develop and enforce robust security measures to protect sensitive company data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Ticketing System: Design and manage an efficient Jira ticketing system to track and resolve IT issues promptly, prioritizing enduser support and network troubleshooting.
  • HRIS Integrations: Manage and troubleshoot HRIS integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide handson technical support to endusers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring mínimal downtime.

Facilities Management:


  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for IT and facilities operations, identifying costsaving opportunities and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Controlled Physical Access deploying security checks and access control mechanisms for restricting physical access only to the authorized persons
  • Facility Monitoring with Alarms auto alarming system to be placed for monitoring all the abovementioned facilities
  • Safety & Compliance ensure maintenance and periodic testing of elevators, smoke detectors, and the availability of fire extinguisher systems throughout all premises
  • Office Management: Oversee the office management staff for the New York headquarters office, ensuring a clean, safe, and productive environment.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors for cleaning services, office supplies, equipment maintenance, and other facilityrelated needs.
  • Expansion Planning: Collaborate with Retail Division operations leadership to plan and execute the opening of new retail locations, ensuring efficient setup of IT infrastructure and office spaces.

  • Team Management: Manage and develop a small team of IT and office staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with crossfunctional teams, collaborating on projects to meet companywide objectives.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding

What You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology management with strong knowledge of IT best practices and policies, 2+ years managing or leading small teams
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure across multiple locations with handson technical skills in hardware, software, networking, and security
  • Experience managing diverse endpoints (Windows, Mac, Linux), ideally within a zerotrust security framework
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
