- Create and process orders promptly, handle rush orders, and review pending orders and customer requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings and sales appointments, and follow up on order status.
- Develop and monitor performance indicators for sales and staff, manage sales tracking tools, and compile reports.
- Manage customer accounts, follow up for administrative purposes, and provide troubleshooting assistance for orders and account statuses.
- Perform data entry for sales figures and metrics, maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
- Report unusual activities to supervision for review and troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate attention to detail, and employ time management techniques to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and motivate others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in administration and high-volume office work is advantageous
- Experience in manufacturing and sales organizations is a plus
