Purpose:


As a Customer Service Representative, you play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction by efficiently handling orders, addressing product/service inquiries, and resolving issues.

You serve as the frontline ambassador of our company, ensuring seamless interactions and fostering long-term relationships with our valued customers.


Essential Job Functions:

Order Management: Proficiently process orders, including modification of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders, and ensure accurate pricing. Collaborate with public warehouses to fulfill orders promptly and efficiently.

Inventory Oversight: Regularly review inventory status to ascertain product availability for fulfilling orders. Proactively communicate with customers regarding any potential delays and provide transparent updates on order status.

Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve product or service-related concerns raised by customers promptly and effectively. Utilize problem-solving skills to offer suitable solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Customer Engagement: Engage with customers proactively to understand their needs and preferences, providing timely assistance and guidance. Facilitate smooth communication channels between customers and internal departments to meet delivery timelines.

Claims Management: Evaluate customer claims judiciously and determine appropriate actions, including issuing credits when necessary. Maintain accurate records of claim resolutions for future reference.

Team Collaboration: Contribute to a collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and managers during peak workloads or absences. Share knowledge and expertise to support collective goals and enhance team efficiency.

Specifications (Minimum requirements):


  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 35 years of experience in Customer Service
  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics BC a plus

Please note:
This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (4 days home/1 day in the office). Currently, employees are required to work in the office on Wednesdays.

Moving forward, a time may come where employees will be asked to work from the office more, but a hybrid office/remote work schedule is expected to remain.


Demands/Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to commute and work onsite a minimum of one day per week.

Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

  • Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632: Relocate before starting work (required)
