Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

Responsibilities:

Utilizing Service NOW to review, assign, and manage user IT support tickets, which could require:

  • Deliver and configure personal computer equipment. Some assignments include delivering equipment from one location to another.
  • Create detailed support tickets by gathering and documenting all required information, obtain appropriate approvals, update ticket statuses, and route to the proper support teams, if required.
  • Coordinate with internal groups to escalate, prioritize, and resolve problems in a timely manner for the end users.
  • Assist the Facilities team with client Changes/Adds/Moves.
  • Install peripherals on computer systems.
  • Install and upgrade software.
  • Configure new computer systems.
  • Resolve enduser problem calls over the telephone or by visiting the users and resolving the problems on site.
  • Upgrade PCs and printers.
  • Connect computer equipment to the network.
  • Work with the help desk on calls (trouble ticket) to resolve user hardware/software problems in a timely manner.
  • Support an oncall on rotation.
  • Assist with enforcing policy, document desktop procedures, and update knowledge base.
  • Responsible for performing and documenting functions of asset tracking using Service NOW.
  • Assist the Help Desk with calls (trouble ticket) to manage the procurement, configuration, and issuing of mobile smart phones.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Education
  • Associate Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience as a Desktop Technician.
  • Must have experience supporting Microsoft operating systems, including demonstrated knowledge of Windows 10/1
  • Must be familiar with basic networking troubleshooting concepts.
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Droid and iPhone smart phones.
  • IT incident queue management with an ITIL system.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and organized. Will keep a detailed record of work performed each day.
  • Must have professional appearance, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of corporate management.
