  • Printing and distributing BOL's and other necessary paperwork to drivers
  • Helping with ELD compliance
  • Ensure compliance with laws and company policies
  • Keep assigned routes updated
  • Assist with transporting units to and from Ryder for maintenance
  • Help provide ETA's for routes that have been delayed for various reasons to various hubs and customer service
  • Assist with providing mileage information and other maintenance related issues
  • Practice safe work habits and uses protective equipment when required
  • Always promote and demonstrate a positive, friendly, respectful, and cooperative mentality towards our customers, drivers, dispatch, other supervisors, and management
  • Perform the activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of company tractors, straight trucks, and trailers
  • Investigate and resolve customer or shipper complaints
  • Serve as contact person for all dispatch and drivers within assigned region
  • Monitor operations to ensure that drivers comply with customer policies, DOT regulations and procedures, safety rules, and federal and state transportation regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Communicate effectively verbally and in written form
  • Problem Solving Abilities
  • Knowledge of the local region
  • Must have the ability to make critical decisions while under pressure
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in various computer programs and systems
