Camp Counselor/Teaching Assistant College for Kids (Summer Job)MiraCosta College for Kids is looking for camp counselors/teaching assistants for our Summer camp program. It will be 30-40 hours per week July 8-26. Come have fun working with kids ages 6-16 in exciting classes such as Survivor, Vet Tech, Cooking, Science, Gaming, Art, Music and more
Qualifications include:
Must be 18 or older
Must have transportation to Cardiff and Oceanside location
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Be available last week of June for orientation and July 8-26
Be available to work 30-40 hours per week M-F between the hours of 8:00 and 5:00 pm
Live scan and TB required
Responsibilities include:
Getting clipboards ready, Etc.
Walking children to and from class
Assisting Instructors
Carrying instructional items to and from the classroom from Community Services office as needed
Supervising lunchtime for kids
Directing parents in the parking lot during drop-off/pick-up times
Job Types:
Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
