Join our amazing FCCI team This role will be responsible for assisting in the administration of FCCI's benefits programs and serve as a key contact for all benefits and related reports and activities.

Specifically, this role will assist with the benefit enrollment process, eligibility and coverage options, and associated reporting, as well as assisting with administration for leave requests.


What you will do in this role:

  • Assist in the administration of FCCI's employee benefits programs, including benefit enrollment process, eligibility and coverage options;
  • Conduct benefits orientation and help to educate team members about all benefit options.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding benefits including health, dental, vision, and supplemental plans.
  • Assist employees with requests for leaves and provide notification to Payroll and other internal stakeholders.
  • Develop queries and provide HR reports for Human Resources Department, business units and external reporting agencies (e.g., FLSA, OSHA, EEOC).
  • Reconcile and process all benefits related billing;
  • Prepare file imports and exports to/from external vendors as needed; (i.e., budget preparation, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation and vendor payments.)
  • Participate in benefit plan modifications, communication and annual renewals.
This role will be located in our Sarasota corporate office.

Experience:
Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum two years recent administrative / teammate support experience in an Corporate HR/Benefits environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e., Able to import, export, sort, reconcile data, create reports, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile & merge large data reports.
  • Knowledge of HRIS system administration.
  • Basic knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations that govern benefit programs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decisionmaking.
  • Must be able to effectively handle highly sensitive and confidential employee matters at all times.
