Rockcreek is looking for a System Administrator/Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) for our client in the public transportation sector in Wiesbaden.

Our client is a well-known public transportation company in Wiesbaden, which transports more than 61 million passengers per year. They are seeking an experienced System Administrator/Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join their IT team.


Responsibilities:

  • Administration, support, monitoring, and optimization of ongoing IT operations
  • Assisting users with troubleshooting and error messages
  • Building and maintaining the VMware server farm
  • Identifying error messages and forwarding them to the appropriate parties
  • Managing access rights and directory services
  • Providing technical support for the implementation of new projects
  • Advising business units on software procurement
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software

Requirements:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist/system integration or equivalent qualification
  • Previous professional experience as an IT system administrator
  • Knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases, SharePoint 2012/2016, Windows 10, and Windows Server Certification 2012 R2/201
  • Class B driver's license
  • Good German and English skills
