Multi speciality practice based out of Massapequa NY. Evolve Psychiatry is expanding into the field of primary care. Evolve Physicians will be a part time Primary Care facility located out of our Massapequa.We are looking for a dedicated MA to work out of our primary care suite 2 days a week and work in reception at the psychiatry suite the other 3 days a week.
In Primary Care you will be expected to (but not limited to)- Check in the patients
- Collect copay's
- Take patient vitals and properly document it into the patient chart
- Escort them to the exam room
- Create follow up appointments
- Organize and keep a running supply list
- Check in the patients
- Collect copay's
- Ensure all proper paperwork is in the patient chart
- Medication refill telephone encounters
- UDS testing
Medical Assisting experience is
required.
One year experience in healthcare setting
required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must.

$ $26.00 per hour
