The apprenticeship:

During your apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of metal processing, electrical and control engineering. You will also learn how to program computer-controlled machines. You will be involved in daily business and have the opportunity to work on large projects. The necessary theoretical knowledge, in addition to practical training, will be taught at the vocational school in Schwenningen for 1.5 days per week.

You:

  • Process mechanical parts
  • Assemble components into mechatronic systems
  • Install and test hardware and software components
  • Commission, test, and operate mechatronic systems
  • Instruct customers
  • Perform maintenance and repair work
