We arecurrently seeking for a
Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant tojoin our team.


Role Summary:

The Delivery Driver holds responsibility for the administration of material distribution to jobsites and mobile minis.

This role holds responsibility for field material, material returns and purchasing support, as well as support to the Warehouse and Design & Engineering domain.

Provide assistance to warehouse manager in multiple capacities including shipping and receiving and small tool repairs.


Organizational Relationships:


The Delivery Driver / warehouse assistant reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and interacts daily with BEI Field Management, Purchasing, Estimators, Starts Coordinators, Designers and RightStart personnel.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Receives and organizes daily work schedule
  • Picks up orders from distribution centers and deliver to specific locations
  • Accurately documents extra material at each job site and reports findings back to supervisor
  • Ensures jobsites and mobile minis are free from extra material
  • Holds responsibility for transporting material to and from jobsites
  • Turns in daily return slips with material for processing
  • Assists the warehouse material processor with returns
  • Regularly Inventories and verify all material in mobile minis & warehouse
  • Moves specific materials from jobsite to jobsite
  • Maintains organized and clean truck stock
  • Provides administrative support to Supervisor and Director
  • Provides information and regular reporting to Directors and Executive Management

Qualifications & Skills:


  • General understanding of residential construction, plumbing and materials
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to organize vast amounts of information
  • Ability to directly and professionally interact with supplier/builder reps and field personnel
  • Ability to drive for long period of times
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment and lift up to 50lbs

Preferred:


  • Background in Residential plumbing
  • Strong oral and written communication skills essential
  • Strong skills with organizing, coordinating and maintaining information essential 35 years' experience in material management role desire
