- Conduct investigations on all facets of complex auto claims (including coverage, liability, and damages) with autonomy and expertise
- Apply advanced knowledge of company insurance policies, industry standards, and internal relationships
- Assess subrogation or fraud potential in complex cases and determine appropriate actions
- Address customer needs with top-notch service skills
- Recognize and understand vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- For injury-related claims, if applicable, assess, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to severe/catastrophic injury claims
- Utilize senior adjuster experience or rotate into specialized roles (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, etc.)
- Recommend and implement process enhancements
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Ability to acquire and maintain necessary adjuster licenses
- Proficient in NY State Workers' Comp fee schedule and Regulation 68
- Advanced in customer service, verbal and written communication, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Skilled in using Word and Outlook

Job Description:
Responsible for thoroughly investigating and verifying the details of complex automobile accidents. Evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and effectively adjusting and negotiating claims within authority limits. Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
