    About the job: Senior Tax Accountant/Tax Supervisor

    We are looking for a Tax Professional to join our team. This role requires solid technical and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of both straightforward and intricate tax projects. The ideal candidate should have a robust tax background and be capable of implementing both simple and complex tax strategies.     Tax Professional Duties:

    • Oversee and perform essential tax compliance tasks for individuals and businesses, which include:
    • Prepare and Review Federal and State income tax returns
    • Tax planning and projections
    • Tax research, resolution, and correspondence
    • Manage client requests and deliveries
    • Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
    • Maintain quality standards
    • Provide assistance on special tax projects and initiatives
    • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and management
    • Support Firm Initiatives as required
    Tax Professional Skills:
    • Strong analytical abilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Proficiency in UltraTax or similar tax software, QuickBooks, and other accounting tools
    • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
    Desired Skills and Experience for Tax Professional:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
    • 3+ years of relevant public accounting experience
    • Pursuing or holding CPA or EA qualifications
    • Understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
    • Familiarity with federal and state tax regulations
    • Strong computer skills, experience with Thomson Reuters software is a bonus
    • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
    • Research-oriented with problem-solving abilities
    • Exceptional attention to detail, along with robust organizational, analytical, and planning skills
    • Positive attitude with the capability to work cooperatively with teams at different levels
    • Adaptable to change, managing multiple priorities and projects, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
