Account Manager Job Details

Westfield,IN

Monday-Friday | Full-Time | $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Paid in bi-weekly installments
Overtime possible
Permanent position

Account Manager Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system
Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state accounting regulations
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and tax filing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

About the Account Manager Role

Lead all accounting practices at Grind, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
Manage daily transaction accounting using NetSuite ERP system
Support end-to-end accounting needs (AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations)
Close books monthly within five business days
Monitor accounting activities for GAAP and corporate governance compliance
Prepare and update annual budget with senior executives
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and presentations
Manage cash flow, bank balances, and fund transfers
Prepare external reports for government agencies and auditors
Act as a liaison with CPA firms for tax matters
File all required Sales and Use Tax returns
