Cook 2/3

As a Cook 2/3 at Alyeska Resort, you play a key role in our culinary team. You will assist in preparing and serving food, ensuring quality, safety, and a positive dining experience. This is an entry-level position that offers you the opportunity to learn and grow in the culinary world.

Position Responsibilities

Prepare and cook complete meals, considering guest allergies and preferences.
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet our high standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety standards.
Keep accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Assist with the implementation of new menus and ensure standardized production.
Inspect, report, and correct safety hazards to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment.
Prepare food items according to quality, technique, quantity control, and presentation standards established by the Executive Chef.
Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and can perform multiple functions.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2-4 years or more of related cooking experience, preferred. (for cook 2 position)
Strong commitment to health and safety standards for a safe work environment.
