- Support the Crowne Plaza hallmark and service standards.
- Responsible for the day-to-day skilled maintenance tasks including; electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry mechanics, and troubleshooting equipment repair.
- Perform daily inspection of equipment.
- Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters.
- Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during operation and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnostic skills, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- All other duties as required.
- Have the ability to connect and effectively communicate with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner.

Responsible for minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment as well as daily maintenance including electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.
